1994  Membership started with 47, Gained 3, lost 4, ended year with 46. Theme for the Year "Be a Friend" The President for this Rotary year was Edwin Robertson. 
Overall the Club had a successful year in its achievements.  
Our activities included Drug Awareness something that was a District concern. 
Annual dance attended by 90 guests. 
International evening organised by convener John Givens, the venue being the Civic Centre. 
Big Band Night” held in Claremont High school raised £500 for Rotary Foundation and £ 500 Erskine Home. 
£360 given to Strathclyde police for the purchase of a Drugs display case that would be used when visiting schools.  
Sportsman's Dinner 25th Nov. 1994 raised over £2000.00 for local charities. This was the inaugural Sportsman's Dinner run by East Kilbride & Kittoch Rotary Clubs. 
Tak Tent were given£100, Woman’s Aid £150, Fablevision £200, EK Hospice £2300, Belmont Home £250, Crossroads £300, McMillan Fund £250, Scottish Refuge £50, Scottish Wildlife £50. 
District Conference at Aviemore President Edwin Robertson had 18 in the party attending the Annual District Conference. 
Engineering Training Centre “Apprentice of the year” John Dempsey of Weir pumps awarded £100 from Club. 
East Kilbride Red Cross were desperately in need of a child's wheel chair the Club procured this on their behalf
